The story is set in a small local burger joint, Synanthrope. Among the eight young people who work there, university student Tonari Kennosuke secretly harbours feelings for his part-time coworker, Mizumachi Kotomi. One day, a mysterious robbery occurs at Synanthrope. Their once quiet daily lives begin to become distorted little by little. Love and friendship, bonds and betrayal, fate and choice—these fluctuating relationships and emotions draw one incident after another into the mix. What is true, and what is a lie?
