The story follows Zhang Ran, a former financial news anchor whose family has fallen into a slump. Unwilling to resign herself to an ordinary life doing overseas purchasing, she takes an offer from a domestic MCN company, dragging her husband along. They embark on a strange journey of becoming “internet celebrities.” Ironically, the husband, originally a renovation worker, snatches the spotlight first, becoming the mascot-CEO of a startup. The couple sets off on a playful, comedic “level-up” journey, navigating misunderstandings, success, and fame, and discovers love and their true selves along the way.
